The Cumberland County School System reports the following to the 2021-2022 school year. The following is a report of the changes to certified staff (teachers and principals) to be seen by the board of education in their meeting tomorrow night (July 22, 2021):

Andrew Buchanan – new special day teacher.

CRAB ORCHARD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Mary Harelson – new assistant principal.

Amanda White – new teacher.

Jessica Marsee – new music teacher replacing Caleb Capps.

Kayla Walker – new SPED teacher.

HOMESTEAD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Mary Edmonds – new principal replacing Candace Cook.

Elizabeth Watts – new assistant principal replacing Mary Edmonds.

Terra DeBord – new CDC teacher replacing April Stover.

Victoria Mackzum – new 5^th grade teacher replacing Jennifer Asberry.

Heather Dial – new 6^th grade ELA teacher replacing Stephanie Campbell.

MARTIN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

No changes indicated.

NORTH CUMBERLAND ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Thomas Fuhrman is the new principal. He replaces Jennifer Magnusson who accepted a job with the state education department.

PINE VIEW ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Justin Whittenbarger will be the new principal. He replaces Kara Spicer who heads to Stone Elementary to be the new principal.

Teresa Cowley – new teacher replacing Courtney Sexton.

Ashley Corbin – new teacher replacing Justin Gibson.

Sara Tate – new music teacher replacing Bruce Cook.

PLEASANT HILL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Lindsay Kirk – new kindergarten teacher replacing Amanda Mullinix.

Krystal Collins – new kindergarten teacher replacing Allysa Atkinson.

SOUTH CUMBERLAND ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Dawn Hall – new principal replacing Darrell Threet.

Blake Allen– new assistant principal replacing Vicki Mackzum.

Mario Jose Laborde – new music teacher replacing Me’Haley Babich.

Jamie White – new RTI coordinator.

STONE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Kara Spicer will be the new principal. She replaces Justin Whittenbarger who head to Pine View to be the new principal.

Bridgette Cox – new assistant principal replacing Mary Jane Allen.

Amber Smith – new teacher replacing Stephanie Roberts.

Daniel Gibson – new 8^th grade math teacher replacing Chasity Bohannon.
