The Tennessee Highway Patrol released a report this morning of a recent vehicle accident on Highway 127 North at Grace Hill Drive in Cumberland County. It indicates 18-year-old Tanner Joseph Burton of Crossville stated his vehicle was struck by another resulting in Burton being flown to Erlanger Medical Center for treatment of injuries. He was later released from the hospital. After troopers investigated the incident, the report states it was determined Burton gave false information and his automobile was the only one in the crash. Charges are pending.
