CHATTANOOGA OFFICIALS WANT MEMORIAL TO THOSE KILLED IN 2015 SHOOTINGS

A call has been sent out to artists to design a lasting memorial to honor the five servicemen who were shot down in Chattanooga in 2015. On July 16th 2015, four Marines and one Naval man was shot down as an assassin opened fire at a multi-military recruiting center in the city and then drove to a nearby Naval installation where the assault was continued. City Officials have decided to install a new memorial near the Naval Operations Support Center where the shootings took place.
