Officer Dakota Rucker of the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office was called out to an area near Chestnut Hill in Cumberland County in response to a couple claiming their neighbors had climbed Volunteer Energy Cooperative ladders to adjust cameras to point in the direction of their home to spy on them.

The couple also claimed their neighbor had been taking pictures of their family while outside, resulting in arguments. The couple claims one of their neighbors even said they could take photos of their children if they wanted to, and couldn’t tell them what to do.

The couple would put up their own camera pointed at their neighbor’s home as a counter, and their neighbors are now banned from their property.

However, another resident in the area also had taken issue with the neighbors as mere minutes later, Deputy Rucker got another call from the same area issuing the same complaint toward the same neighbors who climbed a power pole to place a camera to spy on him as well. The neighbors are banned from this home as well.

While dealing with the second complainant, a third showed up and explained he had been in a lengthy court battle against the neighbors and also banned them from his home.

Deputy Rucker tried reaching the neighbors to get their side of the story, and they claimed they put up the cameras for security purposes and had no intentions of spying on their neighbors. the neighbors then asked the deputy to ban all three complainants from their property.
