Christine Steelman Rathers, age 68, of Rockwood passed away Saturday, November 25, 2017 at her residence with her family by her side. She is survived by her children: Angela Cooper, Debbie Yother, and Jerry Standifer, Jr.; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 1 expected great-grandchild; brothers and sisters: Chester Steelman, Jerry Steelman, James Steelman, Elmer Steelman, Terry Steelman, Sam Steelman, Jeanette Norris, Clara Mitchell, and Paulette Aiken; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will meet at Swan Pond Baptist Church Cemetery in Harriman Friday, December 1, 2017 for graveside services to be held at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial gifts be sent to Evans Mortuary to help out with funeral expenses.
