Deputies in Roane County were called recently to intercept a possible intoxicated driver leaving a home on Old Valley Road with children in the vehicle. Twenty-five-year-old Cassie Leighann Church was stopped and a 4- and 7-year-old were supposedly not in child-restraint seats. The children were released to a family member and Church was charged with DUI.
