CROSSVILLE, TN – On Wednesday, August 25, 2021, in the area of #61 Burnett Street, a 25-year-old Hispanic Male was reported as having been punched and shot in the lower abdomen area, by an unknown assailant. The male was air lifted out to UT Knoxville and underwent surgery, where he is currently listed in stable condition.

The suspect is unidentified and is still at large. The investigation is ongoing and it is unknown, at this time, exactly where the confrontation occurred or a possible motive for the attack.
