On July 21, 2025, at 00:57, Deputy Ethan Wilson responded to a theft report at Yellow Cliff Creek Rd in Sparta. The victim, Ronald Houston, aged 57, reported his 2020 Camo Honda side-by-side (valued at $5,000) stolen from his field.

Deputies located the vehicle on a nearby trail, and Houston retrieved it. A weed eater inside the vehicle was missing. A black backpack containing knives, a clown mask, a tactical vest, binoculars, and other items was found on the trail. Two individuals were in the area, but their involvement is unclear.

No suspects have been identified, and the case remains open.
