A Cumberland County deputy took an unusual report yesterday. The Public Works Department informed him a water meter at a home on the 2,000 block of Taylors Chapel Road was vandalized by pouring concrete in it to bypass the meter valued at $850 to steal water. Another piece was broken causing a leak. The water had been turned off at the home since 2018. A suspect was named and charges are pending.
