A Cumberland County man was indicted by a grand jury this week for violating the sex offender registry. Court documents reflect that 41-year-old Dwayne Levonn Smith of Crossville allegedly resided with a minor while mandated to comply with the requirements of the registry in February 2017. Court officials say Smith was convicted in 2003 of aggravated statutory rape. Smith will appear in Cumberland County Criminal Court on the charge May 12, 2017.
