COOKEVILLE MAN ARRESTED AFTER DRIVING VEHICLE THROUGH A FENCE

Cookeville, TN- On May 17, 2023, Putnam County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Garrison Rd. Once on scene, Deputies made contact with Dustin Grasty, the driver of the vehicle, who had an active local arrest warrant. Upon further investigation, it was determined that Grasty was intoxicated and had driven his vehicle through a fence.
Grasty was found to be in possession of several bottles of pills, drug paraphernalia, several debit cards with other people’s names on them, and bottles of urine.
Deputy Boyer arrested Grasty on the warrant and charged him with Violation of Probation, DUI, Simple Possession, Vandalism, Driving on Suspended, Falsification of Drug Test Results, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Grasty has a bond of $14,000 and a court date of 6/12/2023.
