According to a report by the Crossville Police Department, on August 24, 2026, Crossville Police Department units responded to a residence on Dayton Avenue following reports of a violation of an order of protection. Upon arrival, officers discovered an unsecured back door and entered the home with permission from a relative to ensure the premises were secure.

Inside the residence, officers observed extensive property damage—including a ruined television and a damaged chest of drawers—totaling approximately $1,100 in destruction. Video surveillance provided by a relative captured a male subject forcing entry through the rear door and destroying items throughout the home.

The suspect was identified as Coty Trisdale by reporting officer Mptl. Shade Foster based on prior interactions. Authorities confirmed an active order of protection had been in place between Coty and the homeowner since March 2024. Further investigation revealed that an Apple Watch valued at $300 was also missing from the residence.
