DOHN FENLEY FACES MULTIPLE FELONY CHARGES AFTER I-40 TRAFFIC STOP YIELDS DRUGS AND FIREARM

Dohn Allison Fenley Jr. is scheduled to appear in the Cumberland County General Sessions Court on August 27, 2026, to face multiple felony charges following a December 2025 traffic stop on Interstate 40.
According to court documents and an affidavit filed by Tennessee Highway Patrol Trooper Donald Seiber, the incident unfolded on December 16, 2025. Trooper Seiber stopped a Hyundai Sonata eastbound on I-40 near the 327-mile marker for a traffic violation.
During a probable cause search of the vehicle, authorities recovered:
  • 16.53 grams of individually packaged methamphetamine and a digital scale with residue inside a briefcase in the back seat.
  • 19.68 grams of methamphetamine and packaging materials concealed in a sunglasses case within the vehicle’s headliner.
  • A .22 caliber handgun located in the trunk.
Investigators determined that Fenley is a convicted felon. According to the affidavit, Fenley was advised of his rights and admitted to knowingly possessing both the narcotics and the firearm.
Fenley, represented by attorney Shawn Wilson, faces the following charges:
  • Manufacture, Delivery, Sale, or Possession of Methamphetamine
  • Possession of a Firearm with Intent to Go Armed During a Dangerous Felony
  • Possession of a Weapon by a Convicted Felon
