Counterfeit money continues to appear in Crossville. Police went to Circle K Store on Highway 127 North yesterday where a male subject attempted to pass a fake $10 bill to pay for a couple of items. The clerk checked the bill and discovered it was not a real $10 bill. The manager was notified who told the suspect he was calling authorities. The suspect then fled the scene in a red Ford Ranger. Police are reviewing surveillance footage to try to identify him.
