COURT DATE SET FOR ROANE COUNTY MAN CHARGED WITH MURDER

A court date has been scheduled for a young man in Roane County accused of murder. Authorities say 18-year-old Dorian Joseph Heiss of Harriman stands accused of the shooting death of 19-year-old George Donald Fleagle II at a home on South Ridge Avenue this week. Fleagle was found with a fatal gunshot wound to the chest. Heiss is charged with second-degree murder and four counts of reckless endangerment. Heiss is currently being held in the Roane County jail without bond. Court officials told 1057 News today that Heiss is scheduled to appear in general sessions court September 24, 2019.
