COURT UPHOLDS CONVICTION OF ROANE COUNTY MAN FOR CHILD RAPE

The Court of Criminal Appeals has upheld the conviction of a Roane County man on four counts of child rape. A Roane County jury found 42-year-old John Paul Little guilty of the charges in late 2016. He was sentenced by Judge Jeff Wicks to 120 years in prison in March 2017. Officers say the rapes by Little started when the victim was 5 years old and continued until she was 9. Little is serving his sentence at Trousdale Turner Correctional Center in Hartsville.
