A 20-year-old Tennessee man was killed Monday morning in a single-vehicle crash on Highway 70 East near Renegade Mountain Parkway, according to details released today by the Tennessee Highway Patrol.

The incident occurred at approximately 6:25 AM on August 10, 2026. Authorities identified the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle as Julian Wilson, 20, who suffered fatal injuries in the wreck.

According to the preliminary investigation, Wilson was driving a 2000 Honda CRV eastbound on Highway 70 East when the vehicle crossed the center line into the westbound lane. The car then crossed back over the center line, ran off the right side of the roadway, and collided with a group of large trees.
