A Crossville auto dealership was the scene of a break-in and vandalism over the weekend. Someone attempted to pry open the door to a building on the Private Auto Sales lot sometime between Sunday night and Monday morning. Entry was not made however the door jamb was damaged. Two vehicles on the lot, a 1999 Ford Ranger and 1999 Ford Explorer, were entered and appeared to have been damaged in an attempt to start them. Both vehicles’ ignition systems were destroyed. The total damage amount was estimated at $1100 and the investigation is continuing.
