CROSSVILLE BREAKS GROUND ON $50 MILLION RETAIL DEVELOPMENT HIGHLIGHTED BY ALDI, HOBBY LOBBY, AND MORE
The City of Crossville and the Cumberland County Industrial Development Board celebrated the official groundbreaking for the Crossville Commons today. Located across from Buc-ee’s, the 18.9-acre, $50 million retail development will feature major national tenants including Aldi, Hobby Lobby, Marshall’s, and Burlington.
Developed in partnership by Monica L. Cantera-Serralta and Crossville Commons, LP, the project is projected to create 200 new jobs. Infrastructure for the site is being funded through a public-private partnership utilizing sales tax increment financing rather than existing public funds. Earth-moving equipment is already on-site as construction officially gets underway.
