Crossville Police were called to Rose Street for a report of a burglary.

When officers arrived, the woman told police she had gone to the store, and when she returned someone had entered her house, moved the refrigerator, and broken a light bulb.  The woman did say she had lost her key to the house therefore it was not locked while she was away.

The disturbing part of the burglary was a message written on the kitchen wall that read “I’m coming for y’all -A-”.  The woman told police she had a good idea who the intruder had been.  She said her husband’s ex had a vendetta against her due to a pending aggravated assault charge against the ex.

That investigation is ongoing.
