Rockwood police were sent to the 500 block of North Front Avenue around 8:00 PM Sunday night to investigate a pedestrian struck by a vehicle.

When officers arrived, they spoke with the driver who stated that the person struck apparently was not injured very much because they took off fleeing the scene and was not located.

No other information was available at this time.
