Crossville investigators are looking into the burglary of a pharmacy Christmas Eve (December 24, 2017). Officers responded to John Smith Pharmacy on Lantana Road for an alarm call. An employee arrived to see a glass door to the entrance of Crossville Medical Group had been shattered. Once inside, the intruder reportedly went down a hallway to a stairwell that led to the rear entrance to the pharmacy. Officers say the burglar attempted to force the rear door open and set off the alarm. Damage was set at $2,000 and the burglary is under investigation. No suspects were named in the report.
