Last night, the Crossville City Council voted to approve a new route for the Christmas Parade this year due to the construction on Main Street.

The new route will start at CCHS and go down Stanley, and then turn once more and travel down West Ave, before turning once again to go down 10th St. and then down Miller to return to CCHS.

The parade is scheduled for the second Saturday of December (December 14th) at 4:30 p.m. The change in route was requested by City Staff who also requested a weather date for the 3rd Saturday in December (December 21st).

Due to the circular, convenient, and tidy nature of the new route, remarks were made by city council members that, should the new route be successful, then perhaps the new route should be made permanent.
