CROSSVILLE CITY COUNCIL APPROVES GEO-TECH STUDY FOR BUSINESS PARK
The Crossville City Council has approved a Geo-Tech survey that would help in pulling new business prospects into the area. The city is seeking a $500,000 site development grant that would help in site preparation at the Interchange Business Park off Highway 127 North. The problem is that the state would begin deciding on the grant on Feb. 22. According to City Engineer Tim Begley, it’s impossible to say if the study can be completed and delivered by the deadline, but he did say that the study would look good for the city when it came time for the decision to be made. A motion was made and passed to approve funding for the study and engineering services. The grant is expected to be awarded in June.
