CROSSVILLE CITY COUNCIL COULD HIRE A NEW CITY MANAGER NEXT WEEK
The Crossville City Council has held the second round of interviews with candidates seeking to be the next potential city manager. The three candidates are Steve Foote of Dunwoody, GA, Dennis Sparks of Hopewell, VA and Greg Wood of Baker Fl. Foote is serving as a director of community development. Sparks is currently self-employed but has experience as a public administrator. Wood is the former county manager of Harris County, GA. According to interim City Manager Lee Lawson, the council will discuss the candidates further at a work session on Tues, Feb 7 with a special-called meeting to follow where the council could decide to hire the new city manager.
