CROSSVILLE CITY COUNCIL DISCUSSES LOWERING HOLIDAY LAKE IN WINTER

The Crossville City Council discussed at a work session last night lowering the water level at Holiday Lake to provide landowners a chance to do maintenance on shore lines and boat docks. The levels would not drop under a maximum of 48 inches until late this year and be held that way for as much as 3 months. It would not be done at the same time as Lake Tansi dropping their levels and notice would be sent to property owners on the lake to give them time to prepare. The council will discuss this further and vote on it at their meeting next week.
