CROSSVILLE CITY COUNCIL DISCUSSES NEW CHAMBER OF COMMERCE “SCORE CARD”
The Crossville City Council included a discussion of the Chamber of Commerce at its’ work session Tuesday. The council had a chance to look over the C of C scorecard, which reveals some basic strategies and numbers on workforce development in the county. Council Member JH Graham said that he liked the scorecard because it could show the strengths and weaknesses with the chamber. A contract for services with the chamber was also touched on and Council Member Danny Wyatt also suggested that City manager Greg Wood now handle the chamber report at the monthly meeting. Also mentioned during the discussion, was the fact that a multi-million dollar business prospect had been eyeing a possible location in the city. The issue was added to the council’s monthly agenda.
