CROSSVILLE CITY COUNCIL HEARS FROM LAKE HOLIDAY RESIDENTS ON WATER LEVEL PROBLEMS
Crossville City Council members heard from some disturbed Lake Holiday residents at a Tuesday night work session. Representatives from those living around the lake reminded the council that 7 years ago, the city agreed to maintain levels at Lake Holiday and Meadow Park Lake during water harvesting. Now those residents are complaining that raised lake levels are damaging property such as docks and sea walls by erosion. Those at the meeting requested that, if the city continues to keep the lake level above 9 inches, they want to see the damages to their property repaired. The council agreed to place the item on their agenda for their upcoming monthly meeting.
