CROSSVILLE CITY COUNCIL TO ADDRESS TOSHA COMPLAINT AT SPECIAL-CALLED MEETING

The Crossville City Council will have a special-called meeting Tuesday (11-7) just before the group’s regular monthly work session. Agenda items include budget amendments scheduled for 2nd and third readings. The council will also discuss and take possible action on a complaint filed against the city with the Tennessee Occupational Safety and Health Administration. The group had originally planned a closed executive session with the city attorney for last Friday on the matter but the session was cancelled. 1057 News had requested a copy of the TOSHA complaint but the request was denied by City Attorney Will Ridley who cited attorney/client privilege. The council will follow the special-called meeting with a work session which will include discussion on the special city census and timber harvesting at Interchange Park. The special-called meeting will begin at 5 PM in the council chambers at City Hall. The work session will follow immediately afterward in the third-floor meeting room.
