CROSSVILLE CITY COUNCIL TO TACKLE ANNEXATION, BUDGET AMENDMENTS, AND AIRPORT STANDARDS TONIGHT

The Crossville City Council meets tonight at 6 p.m., September 8, 2026, for its regularly scheduled session at City Hall, preceded by a Beer Board meeting at 5:45 p.m. and a public hearing at 5:50 p.m.
Led by Mayor R.J. Crawford and City Manager Valerie Hale, the council’s busy agenda features several key municipal items:
  • Budget and Annexation: Lawmakers will vote on the third and final reading of an ordinance amending the fiscal year budget for grants and water sales, alongside resolutions for annexing properties on Canary Drive and Lantana Road.
  • Infrastructure and Development: The consent agenda features approvals for a water line service request on Peachtree Drive, contracts for Phase 2 of the Northwest Connector project running from Highway 70 North to Highway 127 North, and a request for proposals to secure an asset management plan.
