Crossville City Manager Greg Wood told the city council last night in a work session he would not be seeking a contract extension.

Wood indicated he will work up to May of 2024 to have a smooth transition to a new city manager.

The position will be posted soon and interviews could start in January.

Wood was hired by the City of Crossville in March 2017.
