Crossville firefighters responded to a structure fire behind 171 Obed Street for an outbuilding fire. They arrived to find it fully involved. Fire crews quickly extinguished the outbuilding blaze and a small grass fire. The cause is under investigation.

Please remember it is extremely dry outside. Winds are causing a very high fire danger in our area. There is a ban on outdoor burning of any type through November 13, 2023, or until much-needed rainfall happens.
