Crossville police responded yesterday to Woodmere Mall Shopping Center after a man attempted to grab a woman he did not know.

The report states the subject, 35-year-old Daniel Dion Clark, listed as homeless, attempted to walk away after the incident heading southbound.

He did not get far as police arrived.

Officers say Clark had slurred speech and red, watery eyes.

When asked how many beers he drank, Clark reportedly said “too many.”

Clark referred to how many times he had been arrested for being intoxicated in public.

He was arrested for public intoxication and taken to jail.
