Crossville, TN- On Tuesday, officers responded to Kroger for a male subject yelling at a bag of clothes in the parking lot. After officers arrived, they discovered a pipe used to ingest narcotics. Patrick Whittenburg, age 47, told officers that he used the pipe to smoke his prescribed Adderall. He advised his doctor told him it may be the best way to ingest it. No Adderall was found on Mr. Whittenburg, and he was taken into custody for public intoxication.
