A Crossville man has been charged with the first degree murder of his wife. Officers say 33-year-old Rony Noe Ambrocio Cruz was taken to the Cumberland County jail. He is currently being held without bond. His wife, Sante Ceciliar Mendez, was found deceased in a wooded area today. The TBI says police responded to the 100 block of Village Lane in response to a 911 call. Officers later found Mendez deceased and evidence the husband was allegedly responsible.
