CROSSVILLE MAN FOUND WITH FENTANYL, METH, HEROIN AND MORE
A Cumberland County deputy was patrolling the area of Vandever Road Saturday morning when he observed a running car parked at an abandoned home in a high crime area.
Sitting inside the vehicle, 38-year-old Travis Coleman would not comply with the deputy once asked to roll down his window. According to the police report, Coleman was bent over concealing his hands and then in his pockets. When the deputy instructed him to show his hands, he again would not comply. After finally unlocking the door, but refusing to show his hands, the deputy was forced to remove Coleman from the vehicle as he grabbed onto the steering wheel resisting.
The deputy was able to remove Coleman from the vehicle when a meth pipe and pieces of aluminum foil containing narcotics fell to the floorboard of the vehicle. Upon a search of the vehicle, 8.36 grams of a white substance, believed to be fentanyl, 30 large white pills, consistent with Fentanyl pressed into pills, 1.41 of a gray substance believed to be heroin, 1.1 grams of what is believed to be methamphetamine, and 14 unknown smaller pills were all found.
Located in the back seat, was a large opened bag of powdered sugar, which is known for cutting into narcotics for resale.

- Resisting Arrest
- Possession of a Legend Drug
