CROSSVILLE MAN HELD ON $250,000 FOR POSSESSION, WEAPONS CHARGES
While serving a warrant Sunday afternoon, Cumberland County deputies found 50-year-old Stanley Eugene Lloyd of Crossville asleep in a bedroom, with a loaded 9mm Glock within arm’s reach on the bed. As a convicted felon with a criminal history of drug-related charges, Lloyd is prohibited from possessing firearms. A search warrant revealed about an ounce of marijuana, meth and illegal prescription narcotics. Lloyd was charged with seven felony counts, including manufacture, sale, delivery or possession of meth; manufacture sale or delivery of a Schedule II drug (Oxycodone); manufacture sale or delivery of a Schedule IV drug (Alprazolam); manufacture sale or delivery of a Schedule VI drug (marijuana); unlawful possession of a weapon; possession of a firearm while committing a felony; and violation of probation (circuit court). He was held on $250,000 bond and has a court date set for March 11.
