CROSSVILLE MAN INDICTED FOR PHARMACY ROBBERY IN ROANE COUNTY
BREAKING NEWS – A Roane County Grand Jury has indicted a Crossville man for the March 15, 2018, aggravated robbery of the CVS Pharmacy on South Roane Street in Harriman. Court documents say 43-year-old Terry Hassler entered the store and handed the pharmacist a note demanding oxycodone. The indictment states the pharmacist gave Hassler 700 oxycodone pills with a street value of approximately $16,500. Hassler remains in custody in Bradley County for reportedly robbing the CVS Pharmacy in Cleveland earlier this month. He will be transferred to Roane County to face his charge when his case in Bradley County is settled. The Harriman Police Department would like to thank the 9th District Attorney General’s Office, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, the Cleveland Police Department and the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance and cooperation in this case.
