CROSSVILLE OFFICIALS SAYS NO TO PUBLIC REFERENDUM REGARDING CITY COUNCIL EXPANSION
A proposed public referendum on expanding the Crossville City Council failed to be placed on the upcoming meeting. At a work session last night, Mayor Pro Tem J.H. Graham III said he has no interest in putting the matter on the agenda. One reason given was it would take at least two years for the process of placing the matter on a referendum. A new city council could be in place before that happens, and some members said it should be up to them to decide on the referendum.
