A man was served a Federal Arrest Warrant in Crossville after a month’s long joint investigation. 43-year-old “Jimmy” D. Sherrill was arrested on June 14^th following the conclusion of a narcotics investigation involving the Crossville Police Dept. and the Drug Enforcement Agency. Sherrill was transported to Nashville to be booked by the U.S. Marshal’s Service. The next day, the department’s Narcotic’s Unit and joint City/County Tactical Response Unit served a warrant at the Plateau Rd. residence of 57-year-old James J. Wilson and 57-year-old Joy R. Wilson. Various narcotics were also recovered during the search and charges will be presented at a future session of the Grand Jury.
