CROSSVILLE POLICE BUST PAIR FOR MULTIPLE LOWE’S THEFTS
Two local residents are facing theft charges following a joint investigation by the Crossville Police Department and loss prevention at the local Lowe’s home improvement store.
According to police reports, officers responded to Lowe’s on September 14, 2026, to investigate shoplifting incidents reported by loss prevention employee Michael Mcgeary. Investigators learned that a pair—identified as Tiffany Lowry and William Rocha—were linked to thefts occurring in June and July.

June 22, 2026: Rocha and Lowry entered the store and headed straight to the Carhartt clothing display. Rocha put on a $99.99 Carhartt jacket and wore it while browsing. After purchasing only a pack of AA batteries and a blue Gatorade, the pair walked past all points of sale without paying for the jacket.

July 1, 2026: Lowry returned to the store in a white Ford Fusion. She enlisted an employee to help her retrieve two rolls of electrical wire valued at $331.00. She concealed one roll in her purse and held a discarded receipt against the second roll to simulate a legitimate purchase before walking out the lumber doors.
Following the investigation, officer Henson tracked Lowry to a local Red Roof lobby, where she was taken into custody and transported to the Cumberland County Justice Center. Warrants for theft of property were issued for both Lowry and Rocha. Rocha subsequently turned himself in to the Cumberland County Justice Center.
Video footage and loss prevention reports have been secured as evidence at the Crossville Police Department as the cleared case moves through the legal system.
