CROSSVILLE POLICE CALLED TO UNRESPONSIVE MALE ON DARRELL AVENUE

Tuesday, Crossville Police were dispatched to a Darrell Ave. address for the report of an unresponsive male subject. Contact was made with three people outside of the residence who were with the victim, 34-year-old Everett Mahl, whom they said had been dropped off by an unknown driver. Mahl would not respond to officer’s attempts to wake him. He was given a shot of Narcan nasal spray and received further treatment from City Fire and EMS personnel. He was taken to Cumberland Medical Center. He was later questioned, and revealed that he had consumed half of a 40 mg Opana tablet, methamphetamine, and alcohol.
