CROSSVILLE POLICE CHARGE MAN WITH RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT AFTER VEHICLE CRASH
A male subject is facing reckless endangerment, among other charges, after he allegedly tried to leave the scene of an accident in Crossville Wednesday. Police responded to Braun St. and Webb Ave. for the accident which involved injuries. Witnesses stated that a 1998 Jeep Cherokee driven by 19-year-old Brandon Jones, ran a stop sign and smashed into a vehicle driven by Kendra R. Cope of Crossville. The witnesses said that it appeared that Jones was trying to flee from the scene when his Jeep became disabled. Officers observed Jones walking away from his vehicle while Cope was treated by EMS at the scene. Jones was also charged with driving on a revoked license and violating bond conditions as he also allegedly called and texted his child’s mother.
