A Crossville woman who was being sought in connection with the theft of a truck from a local business was taken into custody for stealing another vehicle. Police had been given the report of a 2006 Ford Taurus stolen on Monday. An observant officer spotted the suspected vehicle on Elmore Road late Tuesday night. A traffic stop was performed on the driver on Industrial Blvd and confirmation was given through NCIC that it was the vehicle in question. The driver was identified as 36-year-old Terri Ann Higgs. Higgs had been sought in connection with the previous theft of a truck belonging to Bob’s Feed and Fertilizer. She was taken into custody and charged with theft of property.
