CROSSVILLE POLICE: JACKSON ARRESTED FOR THEFT AFTER WAVING AT SECURITY CAMERA
It did not take long at all for Crossville police to solve a theft case this week.
Officers learned a male had taken two packages delivered and left outside the entrance to a business on West Avenue.
The arrest report states security camera footage showed 25-year-old Benjamin Jackson of Crossville grab the two packages containing nearly $1,200 in products. Jackson looked at the camera, waved, and left the scene.
A police officer reviewing the footage recognized Jackson from previous encounters.
Jackson was later arrested on Obed Street and charged with theft.
