CROSSVILLE POLICE NAB 2 SUSPECTS WANTED IN NEIGHBORING COUNTY

A man and woman who were wanted in an adjacent county were caught by Crossville Police during a shoplifting incident. Officers were dispatched to the Dollar General Market on Miller Ave. for the report of a male and female inside the store. The woman was allegedly stealing extension cords and hiding them on her person. She found coming out of a restroom. Three extension cords and a surge protector were retrieved from the restroom. The woman dropped another extension as officers began to search her backpack. The suspect then tried to flee from officers and had to be taken down and handcuffed. She was later identified as Kayla Wyrick while the male was identified as Ricky Moran. Both had outstanding warrants in Rhea County. Wyrick faces several charges.
