CROSSVILLE POLICE RELEASES REPORT FOR MARCH 2018
The Crossville Police Department released its monthly report to be reviewed by the city council at tomorrow night’s meeting. The March 2018 report states officers made 114 arrests, took eight juveniles into custody and wrote 91 citations. Of the offenses noted, eight were forcible fondling, followed by thefts, vehicle thefts and custody disputes. Of the arrests reported, the top number was warrants served, followed by drug violations and DUIs. Officers also responded to 93 accidents in March. The Crossville Fire Department was also busy last month according to its report to the city council. Firefighters responded to 232 calls ranging from full-scale structure blazes down to service calls.
