CROSSVILLE POLICE SEARCHING FOR TWO SUSPECTS WANTED FOR CRIMINAL SIMULATION

Crossville police investigated a recent incident where two males attempted to pass counterfeit checks at Cumberland County Bank on Elmore Road and First National Bank on Main Street,

Officers say Justin Sizemore attempted to pass a check at both banks, one for $2,210 from Innovative Restorations and one for $1,775 from Otto Builders, Inc. However, both of the checks made out to John Graf were not cashed at either bank because of the tellers being suspicious that the checks were counterfeit.

Following an investigation, Crossville Police Detective Jon Tollett gathered the information needed to identify the suspects and warrants have been signed for Sizemore for criminal simulation and theft. A warrant was also taken out on John Graf with criminal simulation.

Officers say Sizemore and Graf have outstanding warrants on file at the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department, If you recognize either of these suspects, call 911.

The Crossville Police Department urges any businesses, who routinely cash payroll and other business checks, to verify any suspicious checks with the named businesses before cashing them.
