CROSSVILLE ROBBERY SUSPECT FACES COURT DOCKET FOLLOWING JUNE ARREST

Joshua Alan Ladner is scheduled to appear in the Cumberland County General Sessions Court on September 10, 2026, to face charges stemming from a June incident at the Old School Store on Newton Road.
Ladner is facing two distinct filings on the upcoming court docket: one count of felony robbery handled by Investigator Sarah Smith and a fugitive from justice felony charge filed by Deputy Michael Winebarger.
The charges originate from a June 14 robbery where Ladner allegedly stole a 12-pack of beer and physically confronted an employee who attempted to block his exit. Following the incident, store owner and witness tips, along with surveillance footage, led to Ladner’s identification and subsequent arrest by Deputy Winebarger on June 15, 2026. He is represented in the upcoming proceedings by attorney Kevin Bryant.
His bond was set at $100,000.
