CROSSVILLE WOMAN ARRESTED AFTER EMAILS SENT ABOUT PLANNING SCHOOL SHOOTINGS
A Cumberland County woman has been arrested for filing a false report after sending authorities emails about planning school shootings. The warrant states 30-year-old Nicole Louann Oneal of Crossville sent the emails knowing it would not occur and it would place people in fear of serious bodily injury or even death that would require law enforcement response. The warrant did not indicate which if any school was named in the emails from Oneal. She was processed in the Cumberland County jail Tuesday and initially placed under $10,000 bond. Her first court appearance is scheduled for September 23, 2019 in general sessions.
